As for a bit of History
Ian started All Gardens Great And Small in 1983. Yes Ian was brought up watching All Creatures Great and Small on the box!
Having trained and taught as a Secondary Maths teacher, Ian escaped to the world of landscaping on meeting his other half whose step-father was Ted Powick of Peacehaven in Sussex. Ted had been landscaping the South Coast for nearly 40 years.
Ian worked with Cyril for a while, but soon started working alone and when work went quiet at E.Powick, All Gardens Great and Small began. Quickly work arrived and soon Ian had many staff. During the mid 80's and 90's the firm had many staff.. many vehicles and covered a wide area. There used to be 3 gangs out at a time... yes we were very busy!
Over the past few years we have slowed down a bit. Yes still completing many projects, But now with no labourers just Peter and Ian. Peter has been with All Gardens since the mid 80's. Customers are very happy with the present arrangement. The works get completed in a calm steady manner.. quality work...give them a try! Yes, and we are very competitively priced! We prefer working to a fixed budget, we both then know where we stand with no hidden extras!
